Ms. Anna Kugler, 4th & 5th Grade; Choir
Miss Kugler received a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Pedagogy from Concordia University, Seward, NE. She then completed the coursework required for a teaching certificate. She worked in Nebraska, Wisconsin, and Ohio before returning to Washington, the state where she was raised, to join St. Paul's staff in 2017. Miss Kugler enjoys hiking and camping. She also likes reading, doing needlework, and participating in music-related activities.
Mrs. Ann Black, 3rd Grade
Ann attended college at Redlands University , CA and Cal State at Long Beach. She graduated with a BA and continued for a fifth year to qualify for her teaching certificate. She began teaching at St. Paul's in 1994. Ann is married and has three children and seven grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with family, reading and sewing.
Mrs. Charyl Baziak, 2nd Grade
Charyl was born in Los Angeles, California and graduated from La Verne University, CA. She graduated with a Masters of Education. She’s taught in elementary school since 1998. Over the years she has taught in kindergarten through fifth grade. She began teaching at St. Paul's in 2015. Since moving to Wenatchee she has enjoyed experiencing the natural beauty and charms of Wenatchee. She enjoys spending time with family, reading, hiking and eating pizza, and she especially enjoys going to the county fair.
Mrs. Star Downey, Kindergarten / Afternoon 1st Grade
Star attended college at Lesley University, Central Washington University, Evergreen State College, and Wenatchee Valley College. She graduated with a Masters of Education focusing on Technology in Education. She also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, and a K-8 teaching certificate. She began her teaching career in Lima, Peru where she studied and then taught 3rd grade. She taught for 5 years in Wenatchee, teaching 1st and 2nd grades. She has most recently been teaching in a behavior modification classroom and counseling young children. Star is married and has 2 children. She enjoys spending time with family, scrapbooking, swimming, and making cakes for family celebrations.
Mrs. Laurie Buhler , Morning 1st Grade
Mrs. Buhler received her degree in Elementary Education from Walla Walla College, College Place, Wa. She began teaching in 1988. She has taught grades one to five for 9 years and has 17 years of experience tutoring students, both in beginning and remedial reading. She is bilingual and bi-literate in Spanish, having had the privilege of studying in both Spain and Mexico. Mrs. Buhler has a 21 year old son and enjoys spending time with family and friends, gardening, listening to gospel-uplifting sermons and spending time outdoors in the beautiful Wenatchee Valley.

Angela joined the St. Paul's staff in 2017.
Mrs. Tammi Larsen, Preschool/Pre-Kindergarten
Mrs. Terri Kleinfeldt, Preschool/Pre-Kindergarten
Terri joined the St. Paul’s early childhood staff in 2013. She was born in Willows, California and graduated from Northwest Christian University in Eugene, Oregon. Terri is married to Pastor Dave Kleinfeldt and they have 2 daughters. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family, watching movies, and exercising.
Ms. Summer Rider, Director of St. Paul's Childcare Center
Summer was raised in the Wenatchee Valley. She graduated from Wenatchee Valley College with an ATS in Early Childhood Education. She received her BA and MA in Human Development from Pacific Oaks College Seattle campus. She's taught in early childhood for over 10 years in a variety of settings including childcare, preschool, and early intervention. She spent 8 years home raising her young children and joined St. Paul's in 2015. She is also an adjunct instructor for the early childhood education program at WVC. In her free time she enjoys reading and crafts.
Mrs. Lisa Day, Administrative Assistant
Lisa has a BA in Social Sciences with a minor in Business Administration. She joined the St. Paul's staff in June 2009 after 10 years as a stay-at-home-mom. Lisa is married with 3 children and enjoys reading, camping, crafts, and spending time with family.
Mrs. Heidi Stoller , Physical Education Specialist
Heidi joined the St. Paul's staff in 2018. She grew up in Leavenworth. She went to Beauty School right out of high school and got her Cosmetology license. Later she went to Wenatchee Valley College to receive a 2-year Marketing and Sales Degree and an AA Degree. She was then part of the first cohort class to get her BA from Central Washington University through Wenatchee Valley College. Heidi has a BA in Elementary Education K-8 and an Early Childhood Endorsement. She owned and taught Preschool and Pre-K at Noah’s Ark Christian Preschool in Leavenworth for 10 years. She has subbed in 4 school districts K-8 and PE since 2000. The last four years she taught at the Valley Academy of Learning as a workshop instructor in various science, history and PE classes. Heidi is married with two children. Her son lives in Colorado Springs and is getting married this year. Her daughter is attending her 3rd year at CWU, where she is getting a BA in Elementary Education. Heidi opened an Airbnb at her house where she loves meeting new people. She also likes to ride her horse, play with her six cats, scrapbook with friends, gardening and traveling.
Ms. Sandy Morris, Elementary Aide
Sandy joined the St. Paul’s team in 2003. She started as a Pre-K Aide for Karen Brown and worked in the childcare center. Sandy has 2 children, 3 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. She enjoys BSF, spending time with family and the Seahawks “Go Hawks!”
